Treatment Options
Fillings. If you have a small amount of decay, a filling is the first-in-line treatment. The decay is removed, and the hole left behind is filled with a porcelain or metal amalgam.
Crowns. For decay that has progressed further and cannot be fixed with a filling, or extremely cracked/damaged teeth, crowns are the next option. Placing a crown involves shaping the tooth and attaching a tooth-shaped cap on top to complete your smile.
Veneers.Veneers are thin caps that are applied to the front of the teeth. They are most useful for chipped or discolored teeth. If you have minimal damage to your teeth, or discoloration, veneers might be the best option.

When treating damaged teeth, many people opt for crowns. However, this may not always be the best option if the damage isn’t too extensive. Crowns take more tooth material and tend to be more invasive. Bonding is an alternative – this treatment uses a tooth-colored resin to cover or replace the damaged area, resulting in a flawless smile. Veneers are also a good alternative, similar to bonding, if you are looking for a less invasive option than crowns to fix small chips or small cracks on multiple teeth.

Dental implants are a great option for those suffering irreparable damage or are unable to receive other forms of treatment. Implants are permanent fixtures that are implanted in the gum and fuse with the bone. They contain a screw which, after a healing period, a crown is attached to.
